  3. Get 2 bowls jaggery

  6. Prepare 3 tablespoons Desi ghee
  7. Make ready Pinch salt
  8. Prepare pinch Nutmeg powder
  9. Prepare 4-5 tablespoons milk
  10. Take as required Dry fruits

This traditional Maharashtrian recipe is very filling, fragrant and tasty. Traditional Narali bhat is cooked with jagerry. Take yellow jagerry instead of sugar. Cook the rice completly. after cooking rice with coconut mixture it will again dry up litbit.

Steps to make Coconut Rice (Narali bhat):
  1. Soaked rice for ten minutes.
  2. Heat Pan add desi ghee to it saute grated coconut add jaggery to it allow it to cook slowly but be sure it should not stick.
  3. Now pressure cook the rice by giving two whistles.Allow it to cool
  4. Roast dry fruits in little ghee
  5. Add nutmeg powder to coconut mixture, add dry fruits also.
  6. Now in another pan arrange layers of rice and coconut mixture.give steam for 5 minutes. Mix well and serve hot with desi ghee.

Take yellow jagerry instead of sugar. Cook the rice completly. after cooking rice with coconut mixture it will again dry up litbit. Use orange food color instead of saffron.
